the people that have done this should be found by the police and made to pay the full cost of repair to the pier after going to court for criminal damage.
these people have now made the pier possible out of bounds to angling in the future.
this is an excellent venue for disabled lads to fish in safety. and people on holiday in amble that like a few hours out fishing with there family.
