Fished from Amble- Sunday all day and evening, and Monday till 1300 hours.
Sunday- got as far as D/burgh castle fishing with squid/crab/mussel and worm- 1 bite 1 codling (3-4 lb). Fished at anchor most of the time.
Monday fished S of Coquet slow drift with bait in 50 ft- fairly steady activity with smallish codling (about 2lb).
No whiting, nothing in shallow water and nothing in the dark.
Weather was great, better than last summer!- next trip I'll turn south.
