Amble ?

Literally got a couple hours to kill In Amble. Anywhere worth a chuck for flounder. Only bait is Macky. Or is there anywhere to hoy a lure ? Gonna be roughly low water, that's problem ! Cheers.

Been off the main pier a few times and never drew a blank. I've caught a few flatties off the pier at low tide using mackerel, nowt of a decent size like, could always try Warkworth Beach, only a 10 minute drive plis 5-10 mins walk. Gonna try the north pier myself later today but that would probably take a couple of hours to get there. Sorry couldn't be any more help but thats my best answer.

Try south pans post on the rocks, instead of going down the harbour by the tattoo shop drive as if you were going to the caravan park, just before what used to be a old chapel on the left there is a car park, walk over small dunes, there are a few gullies, you can't miss them, give it a go you never know
