hi fished whitehouse sands last nite ,i had 7 fish in total biggest going 5lb the rest around the 2lb mark ,quite a few out last nite

A hole and massive cracks have appeared at Amble Pier.
Amble Pier has been closed off after a huge hole and massive cracks appeared over the weekend.
Police, Coastguard, the Environment Agency and the fire brigade have been at the pier assessing the situation.
Superintendent Gordon Milward said:"The harbour master contacted us reporting concerns about the harbour wall. We closed off the area as a precaution and assisted other agencies in their efforts to contain the situation with minimal disruption to local people. There are no risks to any residents of Amble."
The pier is expected to be closed for a considerable time.

the local lads still fish the pier , what i was told the damage was where the diesel tank is , lads fishing pier wed nite didnt catch anything
