The Tyne Boat Comp 2005
well what can I say , do you realise this must be the only comp in history where you get a prize for catching a fish .....
everyone who caught a fish (a legal fish) was a prize winner , we had 35 prize winners (4 of them drew blanks at the end but still got a handshake and applause)
This has got to be the best comp ever which, due to the generosity of our sponsers gave 31 prizes .............
well done to all who fished, winners or not on the day we were all winners .
Big thanks to Sunderland RNLI for an excellent send off at the start, look forward to the cheque handover. (I`m a magpie and I still enjpyed giving to the macums LOL )
