i downloaded this app called gps odometer. thinks its pretty mint to have an estimate of casts on the field during practice. have a try think some of yas will find it handy

Whats it do exactly ive just got the new galaxy s3 yesrerday so could do with a few more apps

its a basic app that uses gps positioning to calculate distance. . so on a field if u had a cast . then switched on ur app as u reel . by the time u reach the sinker it would tell you how many feet/yd meter u have travelled from start point.

It will be very accurate as it works on the gps system just like golf course gps systems

Search odometer and theres one called odometer+ its only 69p

I use a one on iPhone called shot distance, it's a golf app but works great on field uses gps to I think
