Angel of the north lakes, some help & advice please

later on in the summer im looking to go to the angel of the north lakes, now ive heard the rules there are a little big pathetic, but i was wondering if some you lads or lasses could help me out on a few topics.

1. The best method to use while fishing for the carp and bream
2. Best Baits
3. and some advice basically

I hear no bread is allowed and only hooks to size 12
no meat, only pellets from the shop. Corn in small ammounts fed in cup and no groundbait
Best method for carp is banded pelet or windmilled
pole at 12 to 14 mtr
