There are four of us due up Portpatrick in July and was wondering if anyone had any details for a angler friendly B&B up that way?

Hi Sean, we stayed at the Ard Choille guest house a couple of years back. It was very friendly and the breakfast was good too. We have stayed at a couple up there, the last one was the dunskey, also fine. The Muirhead is the one that the rest of the lads stayed at. Give them a ring, they will pass you to someone else if they are full. They couldn't be more helpful up there mate.

ive stayed in portpatric for about 25 years have stayed in most of the b&b,i could not fault any of them,always make you welcome,go there you will enjoy the hospitality,mind you most people have there views on the best marks,some have never been fishing for years,its all part of the banter.
if theres a couple of yous try getting a caravan for the weekend,most times have available,bit of a walk up the hill when you have had a good night but cheap enough.
