There is no punishment for them mate, thats if their caught. Best off serving out your own.

My house was burgled in January, he stole 3 ipods, over a grand in cash, jewlery, the missus tablets and other bits. He was caught in mcdonalds a few hrs later trying to take her medication. He was arrested but had managed to spend £400ish in that couple of hrs. We got back the ipods but no jewlery and i got £500ish quid back. He admitted what he'd done (we were in bed btw), went to court, police said he's looking at at least 2 year as he has a record as long as his arm. What did he get???????

Let off with a slap on the wrist.

Moral of the story. If you find who done it, run them over!

total scum bags taking your gear possible they must know you or live in your location.
I keep all my gear in the loft bit of a chow to get it out but its safe, this was after my garage got done over and gear taken.
you just don't know the amount of gear you have in total till you have to try and replace it, so sorry for you m8 these *******s need to be strung up on a lamp post .

couldent of happened at a worser time really, wouldent like to be in there shoes, when caught.imo they will be caught, just a matter of time.just be carefull how you go on about there HIDING.

How do people protect their gear? Locks and alarms are all well and good but does anyone use such stuff as Smart Water or some other security marker?
Just been thinking about if you find a rod somewhere you think could be your stolen rod (shop etc) how would you actually prove it was yours in the first place?
