annoying phone

have just got a flip phone and it has very annoying sound when you open flip up and close it , ive been told it sounds like some one sprinkling fairy dust. LOL and the staff at a library i visit think its brilliant and keep taking the micky and ask if it stiil on, i hate it and would like it taken off, have asked several people to try and take it off but to no avail, can any 1 help please
it is a (orange alcatel ot-665)

Go to settings in your menu...click ringtones & sounds and in there should be options for play sound for the likes of..press keys..camera..notifications etc...it should be one of them for open and close phone, Just turn it to silent

nowt wrong with flip phones,use 1 myself.if its not broke why change it.mind you wouldent even know how to take a photo,must be this age thing.
