anyone fishing this weekend if so where would you recomend im thinking Horden if the sea isnt too big.

Had planned on roker pier but looks like its gonna be shut!

That's where I was going to go but the seas getting up so the beach it is then

Very strong easterlies all weekend so if you fish a beach it will be in your face. I would pick a west facing river mark where the wind is on your back and maybe somewhere you will get shelter from a structure. Hebburn riverside is west facing so anywhere along there would do (marina, jetty etc) and the Grassy Bank mark would have the high bank behind so could block some of the wind. Best fished over high water.

fishing this weekend with toonboymc and codfather145 hoping 2 fish roker pier but if its closed we will want deep water ! so sheild pier im hoping cos seas away and desent fish still showing there ,dont mind the wind as long as it doest blow me rolly out me mouth

you can fish the pilot pier[h/pool] facing the harbour and get shelter behhind the lighthouse but beware of the SEA...L

The ratty still throws up the odd good fish when its wild outside the piers.

I must admit I love fish horden where abouts you thinkn of, some good shots north end

I heard that the ledge on horden beach is 10 foot high now in places . be careful if ur strange to the area , especially in a big sea ....

Yer it's very high, if you fish off the beach I'd keep close to an area where you can quickly get back up to higher ground from.

Would av loved to fish it, av had a few lads on ere askn what time al be there lol, out for a meal n few drinks with our lass and the parents, was disappointed when I realised it was today
