Another big cod?

I was in a tackle shop in Whiltley Bay today and overheard the owner telling someone a 16 pound Cod had been caught from St Mary\'s today or yesterday. Anyone heard owt?

The shops I was in yesterday were quoting runswick and horden as having seen plenty double figure fish.

Dave, I got loads of \"Holes\" marked for St Marys. The give cod to around 8lb in height of season ........ we`ll just have to see how it goes (although last season was not good for St marys, only had a few weeks around easter when it fished well)

Only info on that one, it looks as if it was actually three cod for 16lb.
