Another cracking session on shields pier.

Got to the end of shields for about 5:30, fished an hour of the pushing tide then the ebb. Not many fishing apart from the Cleadon club lot and a few lads from Hartlepool.

Looked like a perfect night with no wind at all. Was into fish straight away and all through the session. Ended up with 11 codling, 5 being size, and 4 ****ey whitey. The biggest codling was just under 2lb.

All fish taken on blow lug, they wouldn't touch the frozen crab.

I was on the pier on sat night, over low tide, got nowt. Need to be down there 2 up and 2down by the sounds of it.
