I've already got a couple Fathom 15's so couldn't resist when the 12's came out.

As per 15's, seem to be a lot better made than the newer 525/515 mag2's.

Looking forward to using it now!!!

Hiya, nice reel! Never even seen them before (just getting back into it) at the risk of sounding stupid....what does "mono magged" mean?

Have a couple of 15s myself and interested in getting a 12,have they just made the spool narrower or has the size of the whole reel been reduced so the spool has the same diameter to width ratio as the 15.

its a magnetic braking system , which can be installed on the reel so you dont need the brake block system , this allows you to take the mag of during the cast producing better control and distance

Looks to be just made narrower mate. Side plates etc are the same size.
