Fancied a few hours today as had a cracking session yesterday and Rocketman was going down and I had a bit left over rag
Got down about 2.30 and left 5.15 as tides started going out
Pushed in next to Rocketman just up from the barrier Rocketman pulls up a nice pollack which I acquired for supper

I set 2 small rods and straight down the side nothing for an hour for me and about 5 or 6 coalies for Rocketman wot a legend on the float
I pulled in a couple of small coalies and a scorpion fish
Rocketman left about 4 ish I was gutted as not a lot happening then bang both rods going picked up the blue bass rod with braid and wot a fight out came a lovely red ballan wrasse of about a pound

Not as good as yesterday but only my second ever wrasse so very happy and cheers for worms Rocketman I will be back down tomorrow tea time

Belter wrasse mate and another great session for you. It's weird how many wrasse are coming in from the piers this summer, I've only ever seen a couple before and certainly never caught one.
See you tomorrow mate ;)

Good luck up the mull mate we got wrasse doggies pollack makki coalies but no bigguns to be honest

Cheers mate. We're gonna try for a conger eel this time. But I'd be happy with a good size wrasse. They are great scrappers so a goodun will be loads of fun. I don't want to catch anymore doggies. I was sick of them last time I was up.
