We had a look out the Tyne on Shady this morning, wasn't too uncomfortable but with a 2.2 knt drift we decided we were just wasting fuel.

Back in for 8.0am just as the charter boats were heading out.

I did get a message from Tony (TGW) about 10.am to say the drift was easing.

Our boat trip has been cancelled for tomorrow with Catch22 from Sunderland. We are booked again with him on 24th June. Hopefully with better weather. Chris

lol dont worry mate...not half as bad as the ribbing i got on the boat...my first boating out for about a year became 6 hours of hell locked in a cabin praying for the trip to end...15 foot swell and not having seasickness tablets just took me over the edge.

any wrongs i have done in my live i paid them back yesterday 10 fold...

but it hasnt put me off..ill be back out in a couple of months..if you fall off a bike just get straight back on (altho i might just start on a 4 hour trip haha)
