any ideas for 10/1/11

I am wanting / needing to get out on monday but can only get out the during the daytime while the misses is at work, was hoping some of use would have an idea were I should try, i have'nt got the set up to go beach fishing ( still looking for water waterproof gear ) and I know low tide is about 1230 am at a bit of a loss were to try, iI live in wallsend but dont mind a bit of a drive.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated, as I have had a few s**t / challenging weeks at work and need to get out.

A report on here says there were a few good fish caught up at amble last night

blyth pier mate if the sea is up n running ,just after the bend i normally fish and best of luck
