Anyone else fed up reading crab threads??

To whoever posted the comment that a tyre and a lobster pot are the same clearly doesn't work for quikfit or in the motoring industry.

Obviously when people go out to the seaside or to enjoy our rivers, its the dozens of manky old tyres which are the highlight of there day, they really finish off the idyllic scenery to perfection.

I really believe the environment agency is letting us down by not putting more used tyres into the rivers and other beauty spots, they should be ashamed of there negligence sack the lot of them and give there jobs to these crabbers they clearly know what's in the best interest of these places, are doing what's in the best interest of us all and know what everyone wants to see.

Society and nature can't thank you enough.

WRONG!! I work in the motor manufacturing industry making parts for nissan, honda and toyota :) Try reading the post again PROPERLY I didnt say they were the same i said they are basically no different to using a lobster pot ;) If your that bothered about tyres then go and move them or complain to the environment agency instead of moaning on a fishing forum :D

i/d rather talk about crabs when the coddies are back in as at the moment not worth the hassle to use crabs:d:d

nesa`s to blame, according to maff,(ministry of agriculture farms and fishery`s). A leaked report today states that= scottish inshore trawlermen are blaming north east anglers for the decline in cod numbers, because they are raping the shores of the cod`s favourite food.(crab) there are 2 things we can do,
1/- cover all our tyres with fishing net( which of course means we can catch everything we want)
2/- change our name to north east shellfish association, nesa.

God am bored.

Eddie, i put the question on (where to collect peelers) because i am new to the area. Didn't know they were so protective about there Crabs over here lol! Saying that, i now know where to go and collect ;) and what is in the sea by the way on our coastlines, is owned by the Queen, be it a tyre/rock/rug or anything else. So if they put a tyre in there, they are fly tipping and i will be CRAB collecting :o FREE.

Also if your lifting a tyre to collect crabs and throwing it back then your fly tipping yourself ;) Gonna try and collect a few myself this weekend to take up to the mull next week but will be lifting rocks to find them :)
