Anyone fish lynemouth during the summer (ish)

How does it fish during the summer ? Giving the nature of the sea bed up there I'd expect a few plaice.

Have you fished it during the summer ? How was it?

Was up there on tues m8" place was deserted don't think theres out doin"mind there was a S/E blowing so the sea was running abit

can throw up a few good bass in the summer months but few and far between

fished the private beach the last couple of weekends, if its anything like there then only bother at night
Nothing hapening in day light but plent of coalies, codling and flaties around after dark, regardless of the tide
had a rod at distance for caolies/codling, flaties just behind the breakers on a 9ft spinning rod with a 2 oz lead

Was up there last night from 8ish to 2am. Between 2 of us we got 2 small codling, 3 sized dabs, a size flounder and a 39cm Plaice. Plenty of bites in between using mainly crab but also a bit bluey and black.
