Anyone fishing tonight?? Blyth.. Shields.. Sunderland

Alreet lads, first time I've posted on here but I've been reading this place for a year or two and have learnt alot aswell as having alot of laughs.
I'm thinking about heading out tonight but don't really fancy a trip out by myself. Is anyone else heading out tonight?

Whitley Bay club have their night time open on tonight, 8pm till midnight, so expect a lot of lads out between North Shields fish quay & Cresswell Carrs!

Cool, I think I may just head out and hope to set up near some canny chaps. Still unsure where to go tho.

Most lads tonight will probably be fishing the rock edges & tidal shots - there probably won't be many on the beaches with the sea being flat; just look for all the headlamps! Having said that, if you went somewhere like Blyth Beach you'd have plenty of room to move around and if you can find a shoal of whiting you might have some canny sport, especially if you take some light gear.

Sound like so good advice, but at the same time if I dont find a shoal im screwed. Think it's going to be shields pier tonight. See if I can get my first decent cod.
