I\'ve got a bit of bait left over in the fridge & was thinking of trying Blyth beach or pier later now that Jim has kindly shown me where to park etc

I fished with two rods, I got a flattie & Rockling first chuck on the scratching gear, then a small codling a bit later. Not a sniff on the rod with big baits. There was a few lads on the pier but nowt getting caught.

Not sure yet Alan but it certainly won\'t be Blyth beach lol, far too big.

Thinking about Whitley Bay or Tynemouth area but will have to have a look when I get there. Possibly behind the lighthouse with a bag full of weights lol or north on Whitley beach. Got a feeling that Blyth pier could do well tonight also mate. Few shots there for you anth. Massive sea though so be carefull everyone.

too big at Blyth Jim,even the north end was heavy,pier might fish over high water
The cenetaph and Panama dip looked a bit big at 10.00am as well

if its se west bays worth a chuck but take plenty lead and rigs lol
