its a ron Thompson axe only used a few times , I was looking at the rod and giving it a few swings and the top section flew off and hit the floor damaging it as seen in pics , ive been to 2 shops but they say it cant be repaired n the rod still goes together and casts fine but I would just like it back to new ( gutted )

need better pics is it cracked or just highbuild chipped off?

doesn't look cracked although there is a bit of a small line inside the rod that my nail catches on if I run my finger around the inside ,, ive tried to put 5 pics on but its saying file is to big or summit , I can email

hope so as ive only used it few times and want my use out of it , I couldn't believe it when I watched the end blast off into space haha

I did a test on one of these simular to moonfleets kayak lifting one only i lifted a lad around 12stone off the deck would be very surprised if it snaps they are unreal rods for the price

if its cracked you should see evidence of it on the outside put the two sections together and see if theres any movement where you were catching our nail on the inside.as that might just be where the carbon weave ended.

will do mate cheers , there doesn't seem to be any cracks on the outside it just seems to have chipped the build up , I have much better pics but they were to big of a file to put on here

sent some mate if there to close or blurry let me know I can change the size on them n send again , for some reason they look fine on my iphone but sometimes are to big on a computer

well to me it just looks like you've chipped the highbuild can't be 100% certain as i cant see right inside the tip but from what i can see just looks to be highbuild damage.
