Anyone tried a Daiwa TDXS130XM?

Got quite a bit of overtime comming my way between the end of September and Christmas so as a reward I\'m going to get myself a new outfit. If you\'ve read the review section you\'ll already know I\'ve got a TDXS129PM and I love it. The TDXS130XM is the heavier version of this rod.
I\'m wanting a rod for rough seas but not a typical rock rod - something that bends but has a tip that stands up to waves and wind. It\'ll be used for beach and pier fishing - mixed ground at the worst. Daiwa say it\'s designed for the North East coast and Bristol Channel which makes me think it might be a bit too stiff. Anyone used one?

Cheers mate. Thinking of teaming it up with a 525 Mag, but there is a big temptaion to get another 6500 Mag Elite.

I have had one for a couple of years, used it in heavy kelp areas on yorkshire coast also on beaches found it to be a very good rod, I have used it with both 525 mag and 6500 mag reels and had no problems.
