thought I might as well get the thread going so folks can get all there bitterness and resentment out of the way nice and early

I've heard Newcastle United are going to print girls' pictures onto the nets in the hope that Andy Carroll will start hitting them, it seemed to work at West Ham this afternoon, mind you that might back fire if Titus Shambles sees them as well

and if Owen Goal isn't playing at the Stadium of ****e next week, there might not be many goals on sunderland's score card

but obviously being a region of true football lovers, the sunderland supporters amongst us will of course have nothing but good wishes for the Toon in advance of the game, and will be very humble in victory should it happen that way, and even more gracious in defeat and won't resent it in the slightest

aye there's a match - and only the most delusional of fans will make any sweeping, grand statements as to the result...

not much between the teams in all honesty - bore draw I reckon (hope I'm wrong :D)

AS if we Sunderland supporters would ever show any bitterness and resentment to our Black & White cousins over the water.

seeing as the boro are currently on a hiding to nothing, we'll let that one go!!

i thought someone would make a comment lol.

new manager things are on the up now lol.

hope a good game for the derby at the weekend and may the best team win and lets hope trouble free. let families enjoy the football also.

have wondered what went wrong. from one end of the table to the other

would like to see it get turned around and you make the play offs at least and get back up

i wonder what would of happened if macleran had not taken on the england job,

he had some good players hasslebank/vaduka/yakubu/mendietta/ etc etc

southgate took over a rookie he was told to cut wage bill had to sell players look at what we have just lost downing/adam johnson.

alfonso was,nt southgates buying it was boards decision to buy him.

loads of good players sold yes some past there best mendietta was just amazing untill he got injured.

i wonder would macleran of put up with having to sell so many players without replacing with quality.
just dont no were we are going now league 1. european cup final a few yrs back just dont understand this and we were promotion favourites.

things on the up???tony mowbray????think we will be passing hartlepool on the way down really cant see us going back up but thats my opinion almost garuntee that boyd and the rest of the old firm will be following strachen back home

Going for a 2-2 draw but god knows, depends what toon team turns up and if Sunderland can start playing away from home as they do at home.

Also see the London papers starting it off again about sacking the manager...guess they have given up waiting on the local paper and the fans wanting him sacked so started it off this time for a few back pages worth since reading about Roonny is getting boring now.

Hope he stays, in my opinion he wont set the world on fire but the club needs a bit of calm and steady handling of late.

Also did anyone else see Steve Bruce at the match on Wed? he had a black and white tie on and a black and white tie clip on...now thats asking for trouble...look what happened to Lee Clarke.

As stated above not a great deal in the clubs but think Sunderland will finish well above Newcastle by the end of the season, thou i dont think the toon will go down.

Tony, Richy has spent that may hours fishing off Sunderland and Seaham this year there making him an Honorary Wear man
