area in front of notts flats

anyone fished this area before,theres a set of stone steps go from the prom to the rocks.been told it used to be a good shot years ago and thinkin of givin it a go,ill use rotton bottoms and a weaker hook link and expect to loose a few leads and hooks.want to fish it with lighter gear not a 6oz beach rod as think it will probs just be coalies thats there
any advice

alreet wor lad, we used to fish that very spot when we were kids back in the late 70s early eighties, used to get some big coalys on crab during the summer over high water on the bigger tides, and it was flounders further along near the new car park, happy times had by all, may still be worth a cast, all the best korky..

cheers mate,catching plenty of flatties from car park but think ill give the prom a shot at the weekend
