Anyone used this line for casting, fishing rough ground and what the abrasion\breakng strain is actually like. The read up on this line seems favourable?
It needs a lot of bedding in,need may be 10 -12 casts, found it beds into itself too, very fine mono even tho the diam states it's about"normal".Don't like it myself one bit, really hard to cast with as when u wind in it cuts into the rest of the mono on the spool
The tapered leader by asso now that's diff all together, good reliable leader, strong n casts well unlike there running line.Just my findings
Used it back end I the season not in kelp but rock marks, it's a little stretchy but good abrasion not the 10x they claim but decent.also the white is great to see in the dark just flash your light on it and you can see it all the way to the water. I will use the line again but won't be converting from big game.
I have used it for a few sessions at the end of the season. I usually use Suffix Tritanium but tried this after reading reviews. It is different to Suffix as it seems quite wirey and does take a few careful casts to break in. I liked it and the abrasion resistance seemed good. The white is good to see at night, but doesn't stay that white if your using yellowtails mind
Have always used Daiwa Tournament but tried this as my Club Shop got it in. Only fished with it once & am well taken by it. Didnt even have a practice Cast, just wellied it without any problem. Smooth line which goes through the rings nicely. Could find nothing to criticise, maybe time will show something up.

I thought it casts well to no dramas with it in the 20lb pulled out of a few snags stretched a little bit to much but not f1 stretchy, if I ran out off big game I wouldn't look passed the hard skin. Not keen on the black but red and white fine, only don't like the black as it's just about invisible.
I have used the Asso Hard Core white 20lbs for about 2 months now without problem. At first it seems like wire, but once used and wet it settles down and lies on reel well. Casts well, can seem slippy so need to take extra care when tying knots. Fished pier, river and rocks edges no problem with abrasion. when stuck and pulled off always seems to snap at shock leader knot.
would use it again.
