Attempted account hack

Just had the message in my email that someone has tryed to hack my account on here IP address 221.10.102.203

aye mate, I was one of a few of the lads on here who had the same message from different ip addresses a week or so ago. Don't know if any of the mods are looking into it or if its something they can do something about?

As long as password is not simple, ie 1234 etc then they should not be able to access.
My concern is NESA is the only site were I have had these attempts no other sites, not sure why.

Iii same here just got a message saying someone trying to hack my account, up address from China, must be a reason for this mods need to sort something

If u got the message it means your password was strong enough

And nobody managed to hack it

But a general advice ... never share passwords between sites.
Worst case you will have to restart a new one here and lose nothing else!

is the email notification from NESA ?
if it is, I suspect that's the firewall doing its job, and letting you know your being hit.

like on your computer the antivirus sticks any bad stuff in the vault and gives you a notification like a Trojan horse is detected.

It isn't just NESA - over the last month or so I have had emails from 3 different forums.

Got one today mate
