Has anyone stayed in a B&B or hotel close to the Mull/Port patrick/ Port Logan, Drumoure etc?

Not after anything flash just somewhere that we can get our heads down and not cost much as looking at a 2 day Tope trip stop over.

Take a look at the Blue Peter Inn at Kirkcolm on the banks of Loch Ryan.
It has a small pub & serves brilliant food.

Pal of mine runs "Driftwood",a small B and B on Drummore Harbour. I have been in a few times and it is spot on. It is also angler friendly and they have a drying room. Do not quote me but I think its about £25 a night.

Dave and Marylin Castle own it,a really friendly couple. Say that Snatcher recommended it to you - brownie points for me. Hope you get sorted ok.

Ok thanks lads i will take a look, it is only for 1 night. I know the area well just never paid any attention to Hotels/ BnB's ect before. Hoping to get booked up for a 2 day tope fest, it has been too long since i felt a tope stripping line off a spinning rod and Abu reel :)

Hiya I,ve stayed at The Ship Inn in Drummore B&B Good clean accommodation food is very filling and you can glean a lot of information from the locals(if you,re lucky)whilst having a couple of gargles.

Sad to say that the Ship as a pub is no more :-( It is now a Thai restaurant and had mixed reports about it !!!
