Well done Gary you need some WD40 on ya frozen blacks for them dabs " cshhh cshhh"

Is that the secret Micky?? ;) Only had rag, crab & mackerel today & they weren't interested in the fresh crab at all...except for the odd undersize codling! Keep meaning to get a few blacks but keep on forgetting haha!

Gary :)

Always known they were a good dab bait but didn't seem to work for lads the last match - seems like mackerel has been doing the damage lately (it was always getting pulled off today, often leaving the worm behind). I'll definitely get a few in for the next one though. Just wondering where all the poddlers are though...haven't seen a single one yet!

Gary :)

I think Tony Anderson prematurely released one on the retrieve ;) by the time I heard about it, it was up to about 3lb and thick as a brick lol!! Only one I heard about today...primarily just a dab-fest around the turn of the tide - I had to move away from my first peg (no 7) not long after they started to come on:( could only manage a size whiting from the high numbers and a few more undersize dabs.

Gary :)
