27 fished today, everyone of us expecting to catch one of those biggun's that been hanging around due to the heavy sea's. It was one of those days, sea looked great but everywhere was full of kelp.

First with an excellent cod of 10lb 11ozs was Richie Muir caught off Blyth Pier
2nd Steve Harper with 3 cod for 8lb 2ozs Blyth Pier
3rd Norman Douglas with 2 cod for 4lb 5ozs Blyth Pier
4th Kenny Patterson with 1 cod 2lb 8ozs West Bay
5th Brad Hill with 1 cod 1lb 9ozs West Bay

Everybody else blanked, me included.
