Yes well done lads, some good codling there from high shore & the ice house - can't have been too comfortable on the pier today Davy?

pier was closed till after 10 then pier attendant let us on ,most of the lads headed to the river for some shelter .the lads who had fish said it was comfy in the river and not much pull.not like on the pier ,it was blowing a hooly ,glad to get home davy.

Yeah, I would have thought with that wind & a big tide the ice house would have been really uncomfortable. It actually wasn't too windy last night (at least where I was) - a few nasty gusts but at least on average it wasn't as bad as the forecast made out. Mind you, after the weigh in etc when I was leaving to go home it seemed to be really picking up.

Oh, and Arthur, High Shore is the promenade just downriver next to the entrance to Royal Quays marina.

Gary :)
