A whopping 5 members turned out for tonights match, which for a club that has over 100 members is shocking. Anyway, 3 that fished managed some good bags, all from Dunstenbrough.

1st Chris Robson.... 8 coalies, 2 codling, 1 wrasse, 1 mackerel. 19lb 12oz
2nd Mick Davis...... 7 coalies 11lb 2oz
3rd John Robson.... 5 mackerel 4lb 9oz

H/F Chris, coalie 2lb 7oz
2H/F Chris codling 2lb 6oz

A lot of good size coalies around tonight with a number breaking the 2lb mark.

numbers been declining for the past 3 years ,petrol costs, crab shortage, bad weather, money matchs, will have to think about putting half the summer matchs local back to flatty bashing, would rather catch cod at seahouses. davy.

davey if the money was as whitley had there matches and they were classed as opens i think alot more ppl would turn up.like u say the petrol costs to get up to eyemouth, beadnell etc are going thru the roof now plus bait and tackle then only to win only a 10a its defo not worth gan up plus a lot of the other members have other hobbies, holidays, work comitmants and as you i aye no the weather has been **** the times the matches have been on the last few years no fault of your own m8 personally i wud put the matches up2 £5 hf £5hb pp just roll on the winter and the numbers will go up
