I used to fish it all the time as a kid mate and it never made a difference which part of it we fished it was all just about the same

The bottom of the car park is easier to fish though as theres seats

Well ended up with 3 Flounder and a new P/W Cod...personal worst!!!!
Lost 3 fish whilst lifting. Think they hit the wall n fell in...

well done on the flats mate ,if you are heading for the pier try getting on the little wall on the left hand side and cast as far as poss towards the oppersit pier.reel in as fast as possable when changing bait.good luck.
