Lifted the boat in on wednesday night with help from Deano and my cousin, managed to get everything working as it should, new fishfinder also setup and ready to play with.
Gonna try a little blast tomorrow morning 10-12 mph S-SE will not put me off, i should get a few hours fishing in.

good luck mate, I`m sure it'll be fine ... we're off tomorrow as well fingers crossed the wind holds out long enough .... (early starts miss most of the wind :) ) ... we hope anyway :)

Nice one Falcone, i was down the marina last night and noticed you were back afloat. The new boat looks mint mate, hope it gives you loads of fun...:)
Did i see the name correctly " RIDE ME "....:D:D

no hehe its called Rosie - Mae after my daughter, the boat will be a lot more suitable than my previous one, having a cabin for 1 will be an immense help.

My eye sight must be going mate, but it was getting dark... Yes having a cabin makes a big difference, even if just for keeping clothes dry etc...:)

Well the weekend is looking a goer so far but may need to strap some day glow lights to the pirks so the fish can see them :)

Will be out Friday to test the water for the weekend :)

To be honest i have found the big tide makes very little diff as 90% of the time you are drifting with the wind.

Had some fantastic days when big tide v wind meaning a slow drift for half the day, if you look back to last year around Aug int he catch reports i think i titaled a post big tide what big tide and had a cracking haul of fish.
