went back down for the smoothies yesterday, left at 5.30 arrived at 8.00 am... after a quick cuppa and a bite too eat we were on the bech and fishing by 9.. racka darren and young mr hossack fished down the beach where they had success last week and me darryl and my son dominic chose the mark where we caught loads...
well things were very slow from the off nothing to write home about for the first 6 hours, weed was there constant terrible stuff, i was so tired had a reet migraine so decided to go to car for a sleep, big mistake lol.
next thing i knew darren came up to the car, saying he had ahd enough, looked at me watch it was 5pm, in the two hours i was at the car the smoothiies turned up and i missed them, any way he told me he had four a nice cod of 4lb, racka had 6 and paul had 5, any way him and paul left, so went back down to fish head still banging, i baited up and cast in,, i heard dad dad i got one and looked to see my 14 year old son struggling to wind his fish in, i crawled over and held his rod.. YES ANGLER I HELD IT NOT TAKEN IT OFF HIM LOL... and watched as he managed to pull in a nice smoothie of about 8lb his first ever,, well if me head wasnt banging i would have been rolling allover the sand as it slung him allover the beach as he tried to carry it lol.... any way to cut a long story short i saved me blank with a small whitey lol racka managed to catch another 4 making 10 and darryl blanked
and dom got 2
packed up called into garage for tablets got home about 10.30 staight to bed
thats fishing cant wait to do it again
