After bashing the macky a good few weeks ago on Roker Pier, my back was absolutely broke filleting them all, kneeling down on the pier floor.
Roker Ron mentioned he was thinking of a way to fix something to the railings to make filleting easier.
With this seed planted in my head i thought about how i could make filleting easier using the railings. So i got the diameter of the post and came home to make this filleting board. It fits nicely over the post enabling you to fillet your fish at a nice comfortable height.
I told Ron that i was going to get a patent on it so he doesn't go looking for Dragons Den. .

its a mint idea pazza and all the makky bashers could use it as a bar to put there lambrini and cider on to and roll there exotic tobacco on lol

cracking idea steve now wer need the plans for other piers posts ,shields ,tynemouth ,blyth ,seaham oops nee railings on there
