Personally, I\'ve never had any \"run-ins\" with divers, so I can\'t really comment to their attitude.
However, if somebody is fishing a wreck and they\'re there 1st - it\'s only common courtesy to go look for another spot to dive and return later - and vice versa.
As I say, I\'ve no axe to grind regarding divers, but don\'t you find the whole idea of diving on a wreck a bit ghoulish?
Many of the wrecks off the N.E. coast were ships sunk during WWI & WWII - U-Boats sunk by our side, freighters and Royal Navy ships, etc sunk by their side.......these places are scenes of often horriffic carnage and the remains of those who lost their lives are still down there. Do these divers have some morbid curiosity? Do they follow ambulances, stop at scenes of motorway accidents or form a crowd at train crashes, etc when they aren\'t exploring the graves of those who lost their lives at sea? Would they dig up cemetery plots just to explore what\'s down there?
Nothing personal against divers.......just curious
