Is there anyone on here that wouldn't mind taking me out and showing me how to go about digging some worms:question: I live in Cramlington but am willing to travel.

There were about 8 digging out of the boundaries on Saturday morning if it's Boulmer you're on about Codseeker. I seriously considered taking their photgraphs and posting them on here as a hall of Shame! Was really hard work there and didn't get any decent worms until the tide dropped right back and they were few and far between!

Are there not signs up telling you where you can and can't, there was the last time I was there. Byelaws and conservation orders etc

The bylaw says that the only people who can dig on the beach are people that have the right to be on the beach you may be suprised to know that people who walk there dog on the beach have no right to be there. if you are going to a boat , fishing ,or yu have a licence off the land owner then you have the right to be there, the law that you need to now was in the magnacarta where it states that every one has the right to fish, when i went to court it was proved that bait digging is a auxiliary right to your right to fish so the judge said there was no case to answer hope this helps you

There's a place in North Shields I do my digging. usually get as much as I want, and more often than not there's a few folks around only too glad to help and stop me from getting cold fingers















its dead easy to find - on saville street, known to most people as Billy's, but keep it to yourself

Personally mate - I'd like some more info, not coz I'm being an a*se but because I'm now genuinely intrigued...based upon my quick readings I can surmise that any allusion to the Magna Carter is based upon vague interpretation

any "law" would be extremely ambigous - it is probably because of this that the Judge threw it out...he prob couldn't be chewed with the hassle of trying to figure out an 800 hundred year old document
