ive seen a few people digging lug at the middens, is there much there or is there better places nearby

where is the middens? heard of it is it next to the fish quay.

To the left just past the little beach. Think someone has just put pics up about it latley. Is it not good for rag?

yes mate used to dig rag there all the time dont know what it is like now. just next to the wooden jetty it was never tryed for lug on the sandy bit used to go to bulmer for me lug or whitburn.

so do you think i'd be wasting my time going there, i was only thinking about going there cos its local and every time i go crabbing there's lads digging lug

no mate give it ago even try for some rag if it is where i am thinking of.

i know you get rag near the old wooden jetty and there's king rag in the mud on the middens rocks so i think ill try for lug if there's not many there ill have a go for some rag

well i went down and had a dig, what a waste of time i checked the time of low tide but i didn't check the size of the tide:red: there was too much water there to get near the lug
