Bait digging

can anyone tell me if digging for worm is allowed on our beaches these days? i know it wasnt a few years back and fancy getting my own bait. cheers

Most people dig at boulmer or on the bigger tides hauxley, but dont dig next to the boats at boulmer as thats what causes all the trouble

even a couple a dozen is hard work these days cos the pumps are wiping them out

got to disagree about the pumps wiping them out yes loads of people have pumps now but not knocking them give up with the pump as they only get a few and think it is easy when they watch it on the net but it takes time to master and the weather has a lot to do with it as well some days they do not show and you think there is none go when the pressure is right and there is casts every where but it still does not mean you will get them

nowt like a good old pump on the beach espeacialy after the night before on the hoy bending ower whilst digging with ya fork lets it all rip can get rid of any trapped wind becareful you dont follow threw tho its arkward walking back off the beach when damp
