bait pumps!!!

just bought a bait pump and been down to the beach have gettin afew blow lug was just wonderig do ppl on here fair any bettter with there bait pumps and any help on finding gud spots around our area wud be greatfull .

Haven't got one my self mate but they use them for geting yellow tails and blacks i dont think they use them for blow lug but any bait digging beach that hold yellow tails or black ya can use it mate.

I am thinking of getting one my self.

I agree with Eddie T. Blow lug needs to be dug for. Yellow tails with a bait pump. I see alot of people digging at the south gare but not sure if is the same for Yellows. I too would like to know where to get yellows from locally if you can get them.

make sure you take some washing up liquid mixed with water in a bottle and keep squirting it in the pump every few casts makes it alot easyer on the back

thanks lads. i saw a bloke on you tube with the washing up liquid like al take sum with me . al just have to get driving to differnt beaches and see wat i can find . i like getting down on the beaches any way al take the bairns with me wen weather gets bit warmer ggive me and them sumthing to do

was worth asking am bound to find a good source ov worms sum were the beaches are to big not to be any there plus its great getting down on the coast any way

I use vegetable oil rather than washing up liquid - works just as good but more environmentally friendly

aye aye mate,theres a few small yellows & blacks on blackhall beach on the sand bars,you will need a big tide,somewhere round about 0.3 0.2 tide,steve

aye aye mate,you can get a few off blackhall beach on really big tides,but it needs to be at least a 0.3 downwards,hope that helps,!!!!
