as far as i know the shop will be at the st clares hospice old shop couple of doors down from the post office,when i spoke to a painter and decorator he said he was'nt sure wether it was going to be fruit and veg shop or tackle shop ,i will look into it if i hear owt will let you guys know.

Did the bait shop at the hill ever open lads anyone know, usually take the lad to boxing there but he's had a 2 week break so not been around that way. Just wondering if it was actually a new chippy that opened instead, cause I got a menu through door for billy's chippy at the hill last week.

Definitely open, just been past earlier this morning. A-Line bait and tackle supplies is what I think it had on the shop sign.

Has the hill shop closed down already as I was along at tea time and they were shut, supposed to be 8AM - 6PM opening times according to the sign in the door.

I was talking to a lad on the pier who said the shop would not be open monday/tuesday/wednesday for the first couple of months. I appologise if I have this incorrect, but this may be the reason the shop was closed when you passed at tea time. anyway, hope plenty of people visit and support the new shop. don't kike it when other shop owners try to monopolise in one area.

You could be right Andy as I passed the shop this morning and again it was closed, bit silly to open a shop then only open up a few days of the week.

I agree to a certain extent about not being open every day. but saying that most fish weekend/late on in the week. by closing monday tuesday and wednesday gives him a chance not to book bait in that could waste and general staff costs. IMHO anyways
