Baiting up for the winter!!!

Just finished preparing my bait for the forthcoming cod season!
Been on since 4oclock tying up hook lengths of amnesia line with 4/0 hooks & wrapping up with elastic thread then wrapping in cling film & freezing,
75 hooks made up.
I've got a selection of crab, squid, mussel, razor, & a few cocktails of them. All done in the comfort of my own home with latex gloves & a sink of warm water
Problem is do I keep them or use them now?

Boredom kicked in & a few pound coins In my van ashtray led me to the tackle shop
& pleased my fingers won't stink for a couple of days

Mine will be certainly a lot lighter now, it'll save me fortunes in fuel costs now Iv shed a bit weight,
Surprising how it builds up just keep throwing the loose change in.
Wasn't far short of £200
& I'm Gonna spend it all on fishing gear & not tell the missus otherwise it'll go on shoes

just keep them for winter now.just hope you dont turn freezer off by mistake.ive done it @ i bet im not the only one.2 switches next to each other.so haway members anyone else turned freezer off by mistake?ps lost about 90peeler crab + mussel,went on holiday few year back,didint relize mistake till i returned.had to bin the lot.

Had freezer go bang b4 tho,never new it had given up the ghost till a few days afterfull of crab,prime blk lug,had more bait in than me local tackle shopto say I was gutted was an understatement
Ps treat yourself tony,better than the missus spending it 4u !!!.

Same happened to me.the missus turnded the wrong plug off even tho i had told her a million times not to touch it.cost a small fortune n never spoke to her for a week

I went in my shed on christmas eve a few years ago and yep freezer was conked out, what a stink.razor, blacks, squid, crabs and half a dozen clams all nicely defrosted, christ knows how long freezer was off.but it gets worse.!unknown to me the mooses has put the turkey, beef and a big prawn ring in the freezer.christmas dinner with chops ain't the same believe you me.
