Lol, I went and found a few dodgy patches and started to sink!!!
Maybe I'll just go to Amble and get the rag like I should have...

jimmy digging worms there is not allowed, thats why i didint mention area. national trust owns it. still if the wardens didint see you good luck. you also get some nice mussle there just over to the left, got to wade over small stream first. tight lines. ps hope your enjoying your holiday,waiting to read your catch report.:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks mate, went off the rocks yesterday afternoon, conditions not great quite a swell around a strong wind. I had a Coalie of about 2lbs and a couple of strong bites but I was using my spinning rod at the time!

Going back today or tomorrow this time with rag, I think I've given up on digging for lug.

Went back to Bamburgh and fished with another guy and both of us blanked! Not even a bit between us.

The next night I went to Seahouses harbour and caught some very nice Ballan Wrasse on my beach rod cast out into open water. With my bass rod I caught loads of coalies some to a very good size down the side of the harbour wall.

It was great fun!
