I did answer Harry Barker by PM after the talk of it being an annual event, better answer all on this thread. There is a lot you have to take into consideration before going ahead with an annual event, first and foremost are the feelings of the family. A few lads where talking about it becoming an annual event during the weigh in, all thought it was a good idea, of course it was also said, they doubt if it could be as big, great the donations for a one off, but could the same people be able to do that annualy, i don't think so. Stephen Grey of South Shields AC made avery good point, one of their memebers Paul Husrt was tragically killed, so they held the Paul Hurst memorial event, after the second event the family contacted South Shields AC and asked them not to hold another, as it brought back to many unhappy memories.
