well me and m8 headed out to a mark at 6 last nite to were i have had bass earlier this year using a redgill on a long flowing trace retrieving slowly back how ever i also took the bait rods down using plain rag never had as much as a bite on 3 rods i then set the 10ft spinning rod up with the method above an started working the lure almost straight away wallop then the fish went mentalturned out my best ever bass of just short of 4lb ad say bigger than the others a have had from this mark this year so think i have found a mark that seems to produce regular on these lures for me thats my 5th bass in 3 goes here also all fish has been returned safely as i dont eat them i do have pics on my phone will try put up if i can get a lead to do so.

thanks just looked at the pics i took of the other fish i had there an that was 23rd may so seems as tho they must hang around this area or am just dead lucky a think 3 or the 5 have been size the others just small bit bigger than ya hand.

cracking fish mate last time l had a fish like that was 15 years ago 6lb sold it at ex wifes resturant for £30 did'nt know it was £13 a pound at the time biggest since 2lb gonna give local beach a try

Wish I could swap my luck with you, been plugging for a year and not had any bass at all but been getting stacks on bait since June. Seriously thinking of giving up on the lure fishing though, its just not happening for me.

keep at it m8 i tried all last year on lure without a sniff when u find them its all worth waiting for.
