Thanks for posting Elbob....Takes a while to read through but there are some interesting points raised regarding the economic impacts on the recreational sector and the ancillary effects on tourism and some of the science involved.
Sadly my MP was away speaking to the RN at Rosyth but has expressed support for the plight of recreational anglers and our fisheries in general

Cheers, although I don't fish much now, I signed the petition.
Can imagine the response if it was the Cod fishing being banned. I just hope there will be some action.
