Buzzed by a little bat whilst walking round the grounds of Castle Ellmo - bats are great, the only true flying mammal and fly they can the little flicky, flocky turn on a 6p nutters. I'd like to see yer average birdy do that. Only bad thing is they get caught in your hair and make you scream apparently. This little beggar was homing in on the glow coming from my special tab and skidding into my face like the cool lads used to do at Crowtree ice rink with their fancy hockey beuts on when you were trying to tap someone up whilst constantly in a state of falling over :red:

It might have been a moth as well thinking about it :yltype:


To big for a moth and was wearing a little cape and plastic teeth like you get out of lucky bags - the muckle white lads :exclam:

get yer salmon road out and get some practice in, could be a british record in the offing for heaviest line caught bat

mayfly pattern, paint it with super glue and knock the bend off the hook, that way Mr bat won't have an unexpected piercing to explain to Mrs Bat

Gaffa Tape cover in black magic marker is a perfect substitute for bat wings so you can repair the holes in Mr Bats wings where you've pulled the super glue off, again removing any suspicions Mrs Bat might have that he's been playing away

I can assure you, as I have it on excellent authority, that there is nothing whatsoever growing around the edges of Mr Thompson

Terry Nutkin - he might have a potential comb over but he did nail Michaela Strachan when she wee strippling, something Timmy Mallet tried and failed to do (allegedly) - respect!

Seen her on telly tonight. Used to be a bit of stuff but she's went way down hill these days. Too much outdoor living watching badgers and stuff instead of bopping with Waterman and drinking ;)
