Fished the open the day at the beacons and blanked but enjoyed the day out and you dont catch out if ya in the house

Never went to way in hear one of 5 pound off the beacons

I fished Hauxley today, Big Bondi, Horse shoe and Hadston - nowt! Saw one undersize tommy. Very poor, interested to know where the winning bag/fish came from.

Fished longhoughton and foxton, Four of us did'nt even get a bite.

Fished snook point / football hole north side with at least 8 others around - saw 3 fish all day out of everyone - one slack liner for me that I didn't hook up

according to the craic at the weigh in they reckon there was about 30 rods out at the beacons and not 1 fish!! we fished cambois hole and a lad 50-60 yards to the left of us pulled a 6.5lber in.think he came 2nd or 3rd!! i caught a 1lb 7oz coalie!!! got a nice new shiney shakesphere seat box for it though!! lol...

I travelled down to Whitley Pipe and blanked. Another 3 lads fishing beside me also blanked.

Still better than sitting in the house with a hangover though.

Aye tha was at least 30 rods out talked to one lad who had 1 to weigh in a was goin to fish the hole as well but the beacons been fishing well through the week but the fish wernt playing the game today but never mind thats fishing never 2 days the same

I fished Private beach and Lynmouth, had a small whiting and flattie both undersized, i heard that there was a decent Bass caught from the beach 200yrs from me behind Alcan. Sounds like a tough day for many

We fished little bondi, me mate caught a cod first cast then two more later on, the other lad got a codling just under size I caught nowt. Its funny how you can fish right next to someone who catches and you dont, even though you cast the same distance. He had bigger crab baits than me, I only had a few! But i lost a fish in the kelp and I got a handy down rod stand as me mate won one so not all in vain oh and I get to cook the fish, stew on now. Tried Beacons after weigh in, not a sausage!!!!

fished st marys today the day started off poor as when we got to the car park we never had enough change for the parking so off for a 20 min drive to find a shop got back to car park got the ticket and comp had already started. then walking round the back of the lighthouse slipped and broke the tip ring on my rod had a few good knocks but couldnt connect with them only got my rig back once also had 2 separate groups of divers swimming in front of us into crips gulley but apart from that it was a canny day
