Beadnell this weekend

I'm going to Beadnell this weekend to fish the rocks

Really looking forward to it after a crappy week or two due to problems at home.

I may take some lighter gear to play around with while the bait rod is out with the line out alarm engaged.

If the weather/tides play silly beggers I'll rummage around the area until I find somewhere fishable

Anyone fished there recently ?

Oh, and does anyone know who has circle hooks in stock ?

Mustad, preferably.

I'm after 4/0, 5/0 and 6/0 but the shops I've tried are all out and I can't be chuffed to faff around.

Might order some online for delivery tomorrow.

Hello mate. You want it flat up there this time of year and to have been flat for a while.

That's not to say that you won't get out though.

I concur with Topbabana, but I like to think there's always a chance of the Knacker hole throwing up a fish in Darkness!! For scratching I had fish just off the left hand side of the main skeer at Beadnell point last summer!! Great sport with Coleys on light gear!
